Lily!

A friend of mine had me do canvases for her girls rooms. I did the paisley painting for her oldest and this is for her youngest! All she wanted was something with lots of flowers. Her little Lily was due on Easter Sunday (which also was my 1st wedding anniversary!) so she wanted Lily's on it somewhere. This is what I came up with. You may not be able to see the details in these pictures but there are lots of embellishments. Thanks again Kelli for letting me do these for your girls!

More Lap Desk

Thank You!!!

Just wanted to say another huge THANK YOU to everyone who has ordered Halloween buckets!!! They have been so much fun to make and even more fun to see all of the kids faces when I deliver them!!! I am finishing up the last orders and will soon be posting some Christmas buckets as well as some more projects that I have worked on lately!!!! So please check back soon.

(One last thing someone left an anonymous comment the other day on the blog. And the answer is yes I do put a protective coat over the buckets to protect from scratching. (Now if you scratch real hard you are likely to scratch the paint off.) I will usually test an area before I give the bucket to the customer to make sure a simple scratch will not remove the paint if so I will put additional coats on the bucket. Hope that answers your question!!)

Mermaids, Black Poodles and a Bucket!

Here are a few new things that I have done over the last few weeks. The lap trays were done for our friends Grace and Olivia. They are twins that are, of coarse, as opposite as can be! So here are their trays the Poodle and the Mermaid! I love how they both turned out and I think that they did too! The Halloween bucket was made for a friends little girl. I wanted to make something different for her so this is what she got!!

A Neat Idea!

I made this Razorback Tub for my friend Aimee. I "borrowed" this picture from her blog to show how she is using her Razorback tub. On game days she is going to use it for tailgating! I thought it was a good idea. You can go to her blog and see how she is using her Halloween buckets until her kids need them!

Birthday Bucket

This was made for a little birthday girl Baley! Her mom wanted something to put some little goodies in for her 8th birthday. Miss Baley is crazy about flip flops so that is what her mom requested for her bucket.

More buckets!

This one I made for a friends baby to match the nursery. I filled it with a blanket, burp cloth and a big that I also made for her.

Someone ordered this to match a nursery for their co-worker. This is one of my favorite buckets that I have done! The lady that ordered it is a knitter and she had knitted some stuff for the baby and also filled it with soap, lotion and other baby items!

These are a few bucket I did over the summer and have not posted yet.

A few new projects

Here are a few buckets and other projects that I have been working on over the past few weeks. I made the two large buckets for a friend and her sister. They are going to use them for when they have birthday parties and other get togethers at their houses. I really love how both of them turned out! My little man starts preschool on Tues and needed a school box for his supplies so I made the school boxes for him and new of his little friends. The zebra is for a girl that works at a salon here in town and she is going to put it at her booth to store stuff in. The school bucket was made as a teacher gift. This bucket was a hit with other moms!! And last the lap tray is my go to birthday gift. I have been making this for Evan's friends birthdays and filling the sides with coloring books, crayons and other goodies. A friend ordered this to give as a gift.
So this is what I have been busy doing in the last few weeks! Now I am in full swing Halloween bucket mode!

A Buggy Bucket

My dear friend Jenny who lives all the way in New York wanted a bucket for her little boy Will. She wanted something to keep by the backdoor to put balls, bubbles, sunscreen, and all those other outside toys in. She said she had bugs in mind so this is what she got!
