Ella and Jett!

I love painting these bright and funky buckets for Easter. These are going to a rockin' little boy and a sassy little girl. Also their sweet mom makes hair bows! When I received her order I saw a link to her website Ella Claire Bowtique! My lucky little Lillie got her first box full of bows and I will be ordering lots more! Lillie now has some of the cutest bows and also the CUTEST headbands ever! If you are wanting some super cute bows for your little girl go check them out!

Baseballs!

Skiing Bunnies!

These were made for a family that is going snow skiing for Easter!

Sweet Bunnies!

A Duck for Cate!

Polka Dots and Stripes!

Bold and Bright Buckets!

I made the these buckets for a brother and his two sisters. Their mom wanted the three of them to coordinate with each other but wanted the two for her girls to be just a little bit funky! So here is what we came up with! I love the brighter colors on all three of them and love the animal print eggs for the girls! So fun!

Easter Designs!

I know that you really can't see this design that well, but this was made for a Lego lovin' little boy! Can you see the lego blocks?

Landon is getting a bunny with some eggs and Jelly Beans!

This is another bucket that I did that is going to go in a nursery after Easter!

This is the most popular design I have done this year! This customer asked for some paisley to be added to her bucket!

A Baseball Bucket!

A Spring Bucket!

I love this bucket! I have painted this same design in other colors. This customer wanted a bucket that she can keep out all spring for her house!

Lambs

This another version of the lamb bucket. This customer is going to leave it in her son's nursery after Easter so instead of the eggs I added some polka dots!

A Little Argyle

Wild and Wacky and Bathtime!

So in the middle of all these buckets I have also painted a couple of canvases! I have to say it has been a nice bucket break! I absolutely love this and every time I walk past it, I try to think of a place in my house to put it! This customer is going to put this in her son's playroom where she has a little reading corner. (Tabetha you have to send me some pics!) She really liked the Gabby canvas that I did about a year ago but wanted primary colors and a saying about reading in the middle. Thank goodness I have a teacher friend who emails me and every time she does it has this Dr. Seuss quote at the bottom of her emails. I have always loved it and thought that it would fit perfect with the canvas!

This canvas is going in her sons bathroom. He has the A to Z shower curtain from Pottery Barn Kids. Super cute and sadly no longer available for sale. Her only request was the Alligator so it was fun to pick out the other letter to add to the canvas! Thank you again Tabetha!

More Easter 2010!

Remember Parker's Frog? This customer loved that color scheme and wanted to make it into an Easter bucket but wanted a bunny instead of a frog! Love how it turned out!

This bucket is going to a sweet little girl, Soren Kate (loving all of these unique names this year!) Her dad is a minister so her mom wanted something spiritual on it. So here is what we came up with. On the front a cross and it says, "Jesus rose that Easter morn, and in our hearts new hope is born." On the back is the same cross with that sweet little lamb! It has been so fun creating all of these special requests, more to come!

Ok so I have some customers that I am finding out live somewhat close or that travel through my area. So with that being said, I live near the Little Rock, Arkansas area and so I am willing to meet up with anyone who lives in the surrounding area to deliver your bucket!! It makes my life easier not having to deal with figuring shipping and boxes and all that other fun stuff! So if you do life this way or if you are going to be traveling through this area please let me know so that we can make arrangements to get meet up! Thank You!!

Easter Designs 2010!

I can not take any credit for these designs because most of these were thought up by my customers. These are just a few new ones, I have more to come! I have alot of special request this year so they have been alot of fun painting!
Aren't these little bunnies hiding everywhere super cute!

This customer wanted something a little more modern looking for her little girl Essie! She wanted hot pink, light pink and zebra with some bunnies. I love making these funky buckets! I can see this in boy colors and taking out the zebra print, also seeing it in more more pastel colors and no zebra print. I think that these bunnies are so cute. The more I look at them the more they look like little bunny eggs to me!

This customer picked out the colors from other buckets from my site. She wanted them to coordinate but not be to matchy-matchy! I love these two buckets and think they would be cute in pastels and would be cute for boys with a less fancy letter in the front!

More sporty eggs!

I am lucky to have some awesome customers that thought up some really cute ideas. So here they are. I do have a few more coming! I plan to post them by the end of the week. And I am trying to respond to email! I promise if you submitted your order before Feb 17Th (which was the deadline) even if we have not talked yet you will have your buckets by Easter! A dear friend is going to help me invoice, pack up and ship out some buckets this week so that I can concentrate on the painting part!!!!

Addie!

Custom Tin painted to match baby bedding
I also have a lap desk and a canvas to post but just do not have the time today!
I am going to try to post some new designs later this week for Easter buckets. I promise that I am working on them! I have had some people email me about orders and I am sorry that I have not responded to you yet but I promise I will soon! I know a lot of people have emailed asking how long it takes to get an order and really I am not giving a specific time. When the holidays roll around I tell people that I have a method to the madness that comes with the orders!
Since I will usually paint a lot of the exact same bucket I will sort through my orders and paint most of those buckets at the same time. This is just easier on me since they are the same color, same design, etc.! I guess what is so crazy this year is that in a matter of about two days I received about 60% of my orders. So really most of you probably submitted your order to me on the same day! I promise you I am painting like a crazy lady these days!!!!

Easter Order!!!!! (NEW DEADLINE)

I think that as of right now I have emailed everyone back about Easter orders. Sorry that it took a couple of weeks for some of you to hear back from me. If you have emailed me and have not heard back from me please email me again! I have been organizing my orders and I have a few non-Easter orders to finish up this week and not to mention getting ready for my little boys birthday party this weekend!

Here is the method to my madness at holiday time. I usually will separate the orders by design. I try to paint for the out of town customer first since they have to be shipped off somewhere! So some of you will be hearing from me in the next day or two to finalize your orders.

Right now I have decided to change my deadline on my orders. I am so completely amazed by the orders that I have received over the past few weeks! I want everyone to be 100% satisfied with their buckets and so I know right now I just can't take on many more orders. So I am moving my deadline up to February 17th. This gives those out there one more week to get their orders in! I am sorry that I have to change it but I know it is what I have to do right now.

I have to say thank you to all of my customers who have sent business my way and to those who keep coming back for more Whimsy Tin! I love getting to create buckets for all of you!

Baby Ella!

These are both for a soon to be born baby Ella! The one with the zebra is for her room and the other one is going to be her Easter bucket. Her momma didn't want anything with bunnies but something springy and different so we did some modern fun flowers and some butterflies!

PcS. I LOVE YOU!

This was made for a school in New York! The initials of the school are PCS and this bucket was made to match their invitations to their fundraiser dance.

Ebby, Emma and Tony

These are going to be Easter gifts but have been made to match each kids room so that they can use them all year in their rooms.

Easter Orders!

Wow!!!!! is really all I can say right now. My phone has just gone a bit crazy with emails! Thats a very good thing though! Today, especially this evening I have received a lot of emails about Easter buckets and I promise all of you I will be getting back with you in the next day or two maybe three!!! So here goes trying to answer a lot of questions....

If you want to order right I just need bucket size, name and design. If you can not decide on a design right now then that is okay I will email you when I get to your bucket and you can tell me then! I do plan on making some new designs and will post them as soon as I paint them. Also if there is something that you want on your bucket then please feel free to offer a suggestion. The bucket with the lambs on it from last year, I give total credit for it to a customer who sent me pics of the lambs and what she wanted it to say. It seems to be a popular bucket this year!!!

As far as time, I promise that if I say I will paint you an Easter bucket then I will and you will have it before Easter. During the holidays I stay up late lots of nights painting buckets. You may not hear from me but I PROMISE that you will have it in time. Right now I can't tell an exact time as to when they will be finished. I do have orders that are not Easter buckets that I have to work in as well! So just please know that if I tell you you are on my list then you will get a bucket!

Shipping is usually anywhere from $10-$15 just depending on how far you live from me!!! So please email me your address at some point so that I can figure it!

Size is always a question. My most popular size that I paint is medium. Those of you coming from the Francis blog, Brody's was a medium! If you look on the sidebar there is a picture with buckets of different sizes those range from Large to extra small. My kids have mediums and they workout great for us. Plenty of room for the Easter bunny to leave their goodies and they have no problem carrying them around for egg hunts! But I also paint a lot of large and smalls too! They are both great sizes too!

Payment! I mostly do paypal. I will send you and invoice when I get to your order and ship your order off when I get confirmation that you have paid. If you have a problem with paypal please let me know and we can work something out. Of coarse all of you who live in my area can pay when I deliver!!!

So I hope that this answers a lot of your questions about ordering! I promise everyone who emailed tonight I will get back to you in the next day or two!!!
